Waiting – Torrential Downpour
Well, birthing is only a few days away. Can’t wait to be honest. I’m so big, I feel like someone force-fed me 3 Thanksgiving dinners in a row. Good news is my little boy is moving quite a lot and seems in good shape. I absolutely cannot wait to meet him. We haven’t picked a name yet. I’ve been on leave for a week now. Aside from the awful sciatica, I’m resting a lot. I keep getting contractions but nothing.
That’s all I have to say about that.

It’s been raining a lot. I like it because it’s not as hot outside. Yesterday, lightning hit my driveway, 3 feet from my house. That was weird. Poor Angus is so freaked out, I had to give him his allergy medication to calm him down. (He got stung by a bee and is now on Benadryl twice daily, he’s very calm and sleepy). He’s on the couch now, sleeping with a breeze coming in.
